Sams Baits have been producing and distributing blast frozen sea and pike fishing baits since the start of 2010.  Our products are sent to tackle and bait shops all over the UK. Because of the high level of quality and service we provide we are seeing demand grow and grow with Sams Baits starting to become a well known and thought after brand. One of our most popular products is Unwashed Squid.  The Sam Cole Food Group (our parent company) import in excess of 23 tonnes every month from the Falkland Islands. Anglers are all now tending to use Unwashed Squid instead of the normal 'Californian Calamari' they have been used to for so long.  This is because Unwashed Squid is caught and frozen stright away in its natural state.  This ensures all the natural juices and scents remain in the squid and it is therefore more attractive to fish.  The Californian Calamari has been washed and bleached to make it more attractive to the human eye for human consumption.  However,  during this process some of its natural scents and juices are lost.  This therefore makes it less attractive to fish. All orders received before 12noon are packed the same day into polystyrene boxes with ice blocks.  They are then left in our dispatch freezer untill 5pm when they are picked up by APC Distribution.  We have an excellent relationship with APC Distribution and they always do their very best to have all the packages we send delivered to the customer by 12noon the following day.
